What is Contract Manufacturing?

Our typical contract manufacturing clients are ready to brand their own line of candles. Because of the logistical complexities of this project, minimums are higher than a typical wholesale order. In most cases, minimums for orders get into the thousands of pieces. This type of a project can take months to complete based on a number of factors, and you’ll also encounter upfront costs along the way for items such as custom scents, specific containers, special wicks, sample container boxes, sample labels and design fees.

WORKFLOW PROCESS

1
Consultation

We will set up a video conference to go over your dream candle. Our meetings usually last about 40 minutes, and our goal is to hear every detail about you brand and your vision.

2
Product Development

If custom containers and boxes are part of your vision, we will provide physical samples for you and your team to review.

3
Production

Production starts once we receive all of your project materials. Production can take as long as one month for complex orders, but most projects will ship within one week.

4
Delivery

We only ship UPS for smaller orders that do not require palletization for everything else we will ship on pallets either LTL or Full Truck Loads.

Contract Manufacturing FAQ’s

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Yes, and it will be somewhere between 500 - 1000 pieces per item.

For example, if you're looking to create a line of candles and thinking about starting with 10 scents, each one of those scents will have to meet the minimum and that can mean upwards of 10,000 total candles.
